PearLabs is founder-led. David Pereira de Magalhaes — Bachelor in Computer Science, Master's student in Information and Computer Sciences.
Our Story
PearLabs was founded in 2026 as a solo, founder-led software studio based in Luxembourg. Built because local businesses in Luxembourg had no affordable, quality option for modern websites. The studio's first real client work — a marketing site for a Luxembourg judo and jiu-jitsu club, a public site and admin panel for a Luxembourg cultural association, and an athlete-monitoring app — set the pattern that still holds today: work directly with the people who'll use and maintain what gets built, not through a layered account-management process.

We help people and businesses access professional technology without needing technical knowledge themselves. That means managing the entire technical process — design, development, domain, hosting, deployment — so clients can focus on their business instead of learning ours.

Technology Philosophy
We build with the stack we actually use in production: React and TypeScript for the web, Next.js for content-driven platforms, React Native with Expo for mobile, and Firebase or a comparable managed backend for auth, data, and functions. Being based in Luxembourg means we're positioned for cross-border client work across the Greater Region, and comfortable with the multilingual requirements — LU, FR, DE, EN, sometimes Luxembourgish — that come with it. This site is itself built that way.
